I flew to Manila early this year to reconnect with my family, friends, and ministry partners as well as to attend the special missions event in my sending church, the Lighthouse Christian Community (LCC) in Muntinlupa City, Philippines.
The trip revitalized me spiritually, emotionally, and even physically. The time spent home was indeed “maximized.”
The Missions Festival last February at LCC was another refreshing time for me, and I am
sure for the others as well. It was God’s way of putting more fire in the hearts of those who have the calling to serve the Lord in the mission field.
My Philippine vacation, spiced up with countless meetings with good ol’ friends from church, was truly a welcome change for me, after a string of ministry commitments in Ukraine and after the loss of my beloved Mom last year.
I thank God and the church for giving me the opportunity to come home. Thank you so much! I’ll be looking forward to my next visit in 2008!

I love both kids and photography. During my vacation in the Philippines, I took lots of photos during my visit to the Sidewalk Sunday School, a ministry I used to spearhead when I was still in Manila. I currently minister to the Ukrainian children through a weekly feeding program, a Sunday School ministry, English language classes, and summer kids’ camps.
